New DCU SenseCam Browser available

DCU CLARITY researchers Dr Aiden Doherty and Professor Alan Smeaton have developed a new browser for viewing SenseCam images. The browser automatically segments images into distinct events, making use of the SenseCam's onboard sensors to distinguish between the events. Segmenting the images into events allows the user to quickly and effectively view the huge amount of images that the SenseCam records. It is hoped that the browser (http://sensecambrowser.codeplex.com/), issued as an open source release, will be used as a building block towards developing further systems for the SenseCam community.
