Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 2	The position is concerned with research in sensor networks and energy management systems for intelligent buildings. Specifically it seeks to determine usage profiles and personalised energy utilization recommendations. This is an excellent opportunity for postdoctoral researchers that want to be part of a stimulating research environment towards the creation of innovative technologies using sensors networks for energy management in buildings. This will bridge the gap between sensorial data and meaningful information to present to the user.
Lead Engineer	The lead engineer will advance the development of a truly innovative web-based platform in Ruby on Rails for energy management. This is based on innovative data mining techniques developed at UCD and joint project partners . The platform delivers recommendations based on energy use, display real-time consumption, alerts to the users and energy saving predictions. The engineer will interact with several scientists, developers and facility managers from our European partners.
